tain
What level? Beginner?Short of taking a class, you can find most of the same material for free on-line once you know what to search for.You can search amazon for networking books but I've found that CompUSA usually has a great selection on their discount rack. Most of the concepts and technologies of internetworking are pretty static. Just focus on learning the basics like IP addressing, subnetting, cabling, etc and you'll be off to a good start. DL.
Go to your local library, there you will probably find a few books to give you some basic knowledge.
tain
Go to your local library, there you will probably find a few books to give you some basic knowledge.Great suggestion! And if they don't have a good selection on this topic, go talk to the head librarian and inform them of the fact. I've seen librarians react to deficiencies like that and go buy some books...you can probably even suggest a few titles. It is a bit dated, but still relevant.http://www.bergen.org/ATC/Course/InfoTech/Coolip/index.htmlAnd this one from Cisco:http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/701/3.html Edited May 31, 2006 by TAiN
