Windows is ignoring the $oem$ directory.

Recommended Posts

I don't know whether it's because I've overlooked something or because it's a volume license disk or something else entirely, but nothing in the $oem$ directory is being copied to the hard drive during the installs. I have the directory format like so:

Root
|
-I386
|
-$OEM$
|
-$1
|
-$$
|
-System32

But nothing comes across.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em.

Have you added the following line to your winnt.sif

OemPreInstall = Yes

Er...

Um. I would never make such a blatant and obvious mistake! Why in fact, I OH MY GOD, WHAT'S THAT BEHIND YOU?!

*points*

*runs away*

Okay, so I forgot to add one measly little line to the file... Thank you all for your help.
