zbarre
Hello,I have a problem with my Ris installation, firstable i've created an unattended windows installation on a DVD.Everything works perfectly , fyi i choose during the installation to create my partitions manually. Now i want to apply my installation with my RIS server. The authentification works well, the network boot too.I create my partition , but when the installation wants to format the hard disk. I've an error who say that it is impossible to do.I've thinked the problem was from the sata HDD, so i've tried with an ide one. Still the same problem. It is very wierd cause it's works from the installation with the dvd.Have you an idea?

Fencer128
Hi,Can you confirm what type of RIS install you're trying (RISETUP or RIPREP).Can you also confirm if you're using a vanilla Windows CD to create your RIS image, or an already modified unattended CD/DVD?Cheers,Andy

Fencer128
Hi,I strongly suggest that you have alook at Microsoft's TechNet articles on RIS. It is important to understand the differences between RIPREP and RISETUP as only when you know this will you be able to get a good understanding of how to process.Good luck,Andy
