johnlee2509
Hi,I would like to know if it is possible to protect a CD/DVD with a password when booting from DOS and Auto Booting in windows. I have searched the net and found some programmes that will protect in windows but you are not able to boot from in DOS.Im just curious if this can be done. The 911 boot cd creator can password the bootprocess but the files are accessible from windows.CryptCD 5 can encrypt the cd so that the disk is not accessible in windows, but is not bootable.Any Ideas please.RegardsJohn
FAT64
I'm fairly sure that this has been asked before and I'm also fairly sure that the answer was no.
Scubar
not much point trying to protect it with these kinds of programs, they arent going to be too difficult to get around anyway.
spacesurfer
why are you trying to protect a cd? just don't give it to people who you're trying to protect it from.
