gktam1 Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 Has anyone experienced the blue screen of death occassionally when running the latest version of Zone alarm and win server 2003?I predict the cause is zone alarm because when i reboot the comptuer and check the event viewer, I get the Error symbol for the "True Vector Engine".Also, it only happens occasionally when I use the internet...my browswer is IE 6.x by the way, but don't think that is likely to be the cause Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vcant Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 yes, the zone alarm is probably the problem, from my expirience, its caused by the server software running on windows conflicting with zone alarm, so if you dont need IIS, SMTP, etc... servers just uninstall them in windows components and it should work fine, if you need the server software, i suggest you move to a different firewall...kerio perhaps.... The error after the following event:"Unable to produce a minidump file from the full dump file."Does anyone what this mean and how to fix it?
