Possible to rotate screen?

Is it possible to rotate the orientation of the screen when using XP?

I know on Windows 2000 all you had to do was press ctrl-alt-(direction) and it will do it- that provides hours of amusment at school :P

Also, I run a widescreen laptop, so res is 1280x800. Will it reverse it to 800x1280 or will it just go into a complete mess?

My video card and it's software support rotation by default. However there are third party programs for this as well. The one we use at work is very good. We use it so we can mount 61" plasma screens vertically. Nice interface. It's called pivot. Here's a link

Look at your control panel. You should see an Intel Graphics icon. Open it and select display. On mine it give you the options to display in any 90 degree orientation. Not sure yours will be the same as mine is the 82852 chipset. But yours is a better chipset so it should have some options like mine.

Our Survey says... No.

Still pretty much the same options as there was before - but in a new gui.

Do you think it would be possible to install the lower models drivers, then use device manage to update to the 915?
