[Help ] Windows activation, wpa.dbl

:angry: ok I bought a copy of xp home oem from newegg.

I have activated ,now i decided to reformat and freshly install .

I have save the volume serial and wpa.dbl after I got my freshly install xp .

I change volume serial and copy wpa.dbl in safe mode

I had not change a thing on my pc (hardware)

NO GO NO ACTIVATION NOT WORKING ...

this will be the 9 th time callimng ms in one week(3 times my hard drive crash do to bad power supply,3 times cause i firmeware my dvd roms three times i just want to format) pain,hope vista won't be like this

I would advise not activating Windows until you have had a stable system that you don't "want to format" for, say, a week.

That'll save you a few phone calls.
