Drewdatrip
On Boot up you can go into your Bios and modify the Front Side Bus of the Cpu. That is if your motherBoard supports softmodable FSB=Drew

Flash
If you do overclock your CPU you might need a better CPU fan, i recommend a Coolermaster one...www.coolermaster.com
strider_D_3000
but how can a new fan be installed while a diffrent one i installed do u screw the fan out of the metal thingy holding the fan inplace and put in the new fan?
Flash
Well it shouldn't need screws... All you do is find the side of the clip and place a small screw driver in there, press and lift. ** DO NOT press hard on the fan or scratch the motherboard. **Then attach the new fan if you get/got one. Same applies, be gentle with it though!!
strider_D_3000
ooh so u take the whole metal thing out like the 2 metal clip that holds the fan onto the board what about the jelly glue that come with the old fan are u suppose to wipe it away or just reapply the thermal Compound and slap on the new fan? zipp51
First of all before you begin unplug the power supply and get yourself an antistatic wrist band and ground it on the chassis, then touch the power supply to discharge it..After you take the fan off of the cpu wipe off the fan contact and the top of the cpu with rubbing alcohol.Oh and wait till your chip cools down before you work on it.Then reapply thermal compound using a plastic baggy to spread a thin coat over each surface.
