xboxhaxorz Posted March 24, 2006 Share Posted March 24, 2006 I have been researching a little while i do not fully understand everything i am wondering thus why people would need to install programs after they logon versus during the windows installation.I myself have used a few of ryanvm cab files to install the windows updates, ccleaner, and adaware. (the main question is : do you want the default user and all future users to have this program)About the WU & RyanVM pack & etc. ; the question is "do you want to have old and buggy files on your disk ?" nmX.Memnoch Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 That's the answer there...If the application makes customized settings that only apply to the current user (Adobe Reader and WinZip come to mind) then it should be installed during the GUI part of setup from CMDLINES.TXT. That way the customizations apply to all users who logon to the system.Oh, and....Can u say "Back to Back" NBA Champions??Why yes I can....
