[Question] - Changeing "copy" animation in XP

Hello,everyone!

My problem is rather unusual. You see I am trying to replace the Windows file copying animation with my own. The original animation hidden in the shell32.dll file is actually a standard avi file compressed with Microsoft RLE Video Codec. And that is the problem. I’ve created a bunch of png static files and when I try to compress them to a video file using VirtualDub and the RLE codec nothing happens and the program displays a message that the codec is not present or is restricted to playback only as shown below…

When I try to compress the files using any other different codec everything works fine and the film is displayed correctly but it can’t be used for the copying animation because it has to be compressed with the RLE codec and no other… Anybody knows where I can get this codec or an alternative method of compressing to this format??

Regards :)

Unfortunatly it isn't that simple... the codec integreted in Windows or in this codec pack supports decoding only while I'm interested in encoding...

Any other ideas??
