sscoop Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 During the Install Devices part of the unattended setup i get an Advanced INF Install error (Cant find C:\WINXP\INF\***.inf). Can anyone tell me what file is responsable for this.
VCC Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 (edited) Sounds like a reference to a missing file to me. How are you implementing your drivers? What's the actual time shown during setup when the error pops up?Also, are you using WINXP as your Windows directory on purpose? Or is that a mistype somewhere? Edited March 17, 2006 by VCC
sscoop Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 yes winxp si set up via winnt.sifthat problem was corrected. i had a bogus entry in my hivesft file, but i get that same error now during the registering components part of the setup
