First of all... Don't double post!

Secondly... Don't write all in caps!

Thirdly... Have you searched yet? Have you looked for it through google?

(Hint: Try typing this in google - "Turn off SFC" +windows XP)

second....... caps???????????? whats tyhe big deal i wrote something before somewhere else and forgot to shut them off.....So So sorry to offend...

and lastly... Thats what the forum is for to get help and ask questions..

By the way thanks for the help it came in handy..

and if you dont want to help people in here without being rude then why bother hanging in here.

@Dime04 - The big deal is its against the Forum rules!

11. Please refrain from using CAPITALIZATIONS in the topic title or when participating in threads because they will not attract attention - instead it will annoy many of MSFN's members.
take the time to read them please!

and if you figured out you double posted, report your post and ask the MOD to delete it!

... Tools -> Folder Options -> View

Uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files and enable Show Hidden Files

Uncheck Hide Extensions for Known File Types...

This is the only post that should be a reply to his question, and a link to the rules. I just hate to see a topic blown out into 10 posts, 1 being an answer, and 9 others being flames against caps, one is enough. :P
