snalion
I have created an Admin install of Office2003 with SP2 on our network. The install works fine. 3 new patches came out - KB892843, KB907417, KB911961. I extracted and then tried to slipstream those into my admin point folder, using the following cmd:msiexec /p [mspfile.msp] /a [networkdrive:]\Office2003\pro11.msi SHORTFILENAMES=true /qb. It didn't give me any errors. However when I try to install Office on other computers using that same install, and run OfficeUpdates, it comes up saying I need those 3 patches. Can someone tell me as to what am I missing or is the cmd I'm using incorrect. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you *edit * -- I do notice that on going to officeupdate.microsoft.com, I DO NOT see those 3 updates at all, however when I go to update.microsoft.com I DO get the 3 updates. Any clues? ideas?
