MSN 6 "Expression" Tab

I cant seem to get any tabs to display, although the code is all there in the configCache file, any idea where the option to enable them is?

Uncheck the box "This is a shared computer so don't display my tabs" in Tools > Options > Privacy.

didnt work !

okay thats my configcache: (and i still dont see but only 2 tabs, finance and alerts)

Change this:
<ExpiresInDays>99</ExpiresInDays>

to this:

<ExpiresInDays>2</ExpiresInDays>

um... you're kidding. that will revert everyone's tabs back to as it originally were in 2 days and all the custom added tabs would disappear. :)

I cannot locate my this file, I tried using search come up empty. What am I doing wrong.

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<number id>\ConfigCache.Xml

The proper location for Win2k/XP is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<WindowsUsername>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<MSN Account>\ConfigCache.Xml

And for Win98 is:

C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<MSN Account>\ConfigCache.Xml

And just to recap... Open it in Notepad.

Is it safe to edit the file to put in that tab? Can i do it in the UK version? because its really cool! lol

:rolleyes: EDIT: HOw do you edit it in Windows ME :) I go MSN Messegner and i dont see a number thing
