RyanVM
With XPSP2, it's ProductKey, not ProductIDBTW, the MSFN Unattended Site has a lot of useful information on it Edited February 26, 2006 by RyanVM
elduderino
Hithanks for the replyThats weird, because the winnt.sif is copied from a working unattended CD (SP2 slipstreamed).I will change the line and post back. Thanks Edited February 26, 2006 by elduderino
elduderino
HiI have sorted the problem. there was a space between my first and second names. I removed the space and it works fine[userData] ProductID=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx FullName=TxxxxxHxxxxxxxx OrgName= ComputerName=DELL8300It seems not to matter if ProductId or ProductKey is used, i tried both and both work! So, this means that in windows System properties/General/registered to: my names have no space between them!So to avoid having to edit the registery, what do i have to do to the winnt.sif file. Thanks
ironside
Try Encase in quotes like so [UserData]FullName="Your Name"OrgName="Organizations Name"And NOT like thus[UserData]FullName=Your NameOrgName=Organizations NameThat should allow spaces then in the name Edited February 26, 2006 by ironside
