i never had experience with USB, but i would say Ethernet should be better... and easier to install, well after all that whats its for - networking...

but then again, im not sure about usb, it might be very good as well

Actually either one will work for just a single computer. This has been pointed out by the other post. Ethernet or USB will allow maximum down load speeds from the internet since 10 Mbyts down is the limit for folks like us ( end users ). Once again as pointed out ethernet net may require a little bit more hardware, however if you plain to use a home network this is what you will have to use.

I have used both and each worked just fine for me. I am now using ethernet because of the network I have at this time. I guess this just really just sums up what has already been said..
