locobox
I keep reading the tutorial on how to make a Multiboot disk, but have found to be quite lost for a week now. I would like to (with the help of you experts) create a tutorial for noobs and use it as I learn how to do this. This is what I DO know and understand:1) I will use CDShell to create a boot menu that will let me choose which OS I want to install. I'll have to customize the menu to my kind of installls I have.2) I know how to extract the installs from my installs CD (at least for Windows XP)3) In the http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/ tutorial.. I can see that I need to hex edit the boot loaders for my install as well as the textsetup.sif file.First, my main purpose for this CD is to have different versions of "setupldr.bin" (setupldr1.bin, setupldr2.bin, etc) each with their respective "WINNT.sif" files (winnt1.sif, winnt2.sif, etc). What I don't get is how to use the shell menu commands, how to test it, etc… All the tutorials I've seen are really bad and don't explain things throughly. This makes baby Jesus sad.LOCOBOX

locobox
Thank you... that makes a lot more sense. STill looks hard though, but at least I have a better view of what to do.
Nakatomi2010
It LOOKS hard, but I can assure you, once you get waist deep you'll gain a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of XP that if you're required to fix it, you'll be able to more easily than most other people....
