A few things i want to do with my RIS image

Hi Guys,

Ive finally managed to get RISULT integrating the DTS drivers and RYANVM working and need to make some final amendments to my RIS setup.

I want to do the following things

Disable fast user switching (im not joining a domain just a workgroup)

Rename Administrator account to Admin

Disable windows firewall

Set Automatic Updates to download and tell me before installing option

and most importantly enable Remote Desktop

Does anyone have any ideas of how I would go about doing these?

Hi Resonate,

In order to do these things it would probably be easiest to create a cmdlines.txt file and have it call a *.reg file that integrates some registry changes.

cmdlines.txt and *.reg should be located in $OEM$ (and if you don't already have a $OEM$ folder it should be created at the same level as i386).

The format of cmdlines.txt should be:

[COMMANDS]

"REGEDIT /S *.reg"

There is a stickied list of common reg hacks at the top of the unattended forum, and many more can be found via google.
