Nakatomi2010
To solve an XPize issue I'm having I'd like to install everything but XPize, have WPI reboot the system after a minute, and then finish the install when it comes back again... How would I go about telling WPI to do this?
Doc Symbiosis
Since WPI uses the Runonceex key, you should be able to run some tasks, restart and the next tasks should be run automatically after login ( I think so, but never tried )
systemsmb
Excuse my ignorance but exactly how would I go about doing that.I dont know if its due to my lack of knowledge or the fact its Friday morning and Ive just had my coffee hit but I do not understand exactly what you mean. Could you explain further? Thanks in advanceI have no idea whats going on in my head this morning. Apologies but I just posted in the completely wrong place.Sorry
Doc Symbiosis
I think WPI uses the runonceex key to start the installations. The entries are normally run atfer the next restart, but WPI calls them directly, so that a restart isn't necessary. If the computer is restarted before all entries are processed, the remaining entries are processed after the restart. So it shouldn't be a problem to restart the computer before all entries are processed. To this whole description, I've got to say, that I've never tested this, it's all about how I think it should work. Kelsenellenelvian
I have experienced needing to restart during the running of WPI and it may skip an entry to solve this I would either call a sleep command for like 45 seconds or use numbering and make sure xpize runs last.
