I tried this method for the first time with the new Nero version 7.0.8.2 and it rocks. I got Nero down to 18.6mb

Oh dear sir, will you kindly share it (sans serial, of course)? I've been trying to get a copy of Nero down to 18MB for so long.

Got it down to 16.4mb . Import the serial before running setup.

I just tested this on the Norwegian 7.0.8.2 with only NeroBurning ROM using the following switches.

How do I see whether it got registered or not with my key?

And the installation got English, I'm guessing there is a language switch also???

Oh and one more thing, there was created a .lnk to Nero Scout at the start-menu, I don't know if it were really installed, but the link was there.

I got English, too.

I will search for a REG-Key to fix it, because you cannot change it in the options.

A Language-Switch would be nice.

Yeh, if there's a reg to change language after install that would be fine. However in NeroBurning ROM after installing like above, only English is listed.

i installed nero 7082 with the way that Mercury_22 posted

and i can change the language of nero in any language i want.

You can see that i made it to install only that 5 progs of nero in the image :

so... just a stupid thought but it could be that one :

maybe you have nlited windows with nlite rc6

and you have prob with languages and/or keyboards

and nero installing only with english because of this?

In SmartStart I choose German (there are all languages) and it is German.

But Nero Burning Rom and the other Tools are still English.

And in the options of BR there is only English installed.

A LANGUAGE-Switch would solve our Problem, but nobody knows if it exist.

Yep, it's exactly the problem I have. If you do anything else than install manually it gets english.

errr... i dont think you can do something to solve this except installling new windows with the new nlite

i have tested it on vmware and i havent any prob with laguages

and i didnt find any problem with anything else.

You could try the reg entries from 7054 for nor language

(7082 does NOT have that entries in the registry)

but i dont thing that will help you if the languages are not installed at all.

to remove nero scout just execute this :

regsvr32 /u "%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll"

does anyone know the difference between :

nero premium edition , nero ultra edition and nero essentials edition?

wich one is better?
