End of WIHU ?

Your last sentence was perfect ;)

Currently the language is selected dependent of system language, but I added a /language=... switch to manually select the language.

Thanks.

small tip, J'habite en Allemagne.

mastrboy, have you tried to run wihu with the /? switch.

Btw I'm not sure /AutoExit will do the trick.

With AutoInstall, wihu waits then starts installation and close itself without any interaction.

So, languages.ini is now mandatory. It contains [de] and [en] section for german localization and english localization.

If you want, you may send me the translated languages.ini. It shouldn't be too difficult to translate.

Search order for languages.ini is following:

1. WIHU searches in working directory

2. WIHU searches in application directory (%wihu%)

languages.ini may be saved in UNICODE or ANSI format. UTF-8 isn't allowed.

I have a problem with the version 2.2.0.2 of WIHU :

I launch wihu.exe /NoAbort /ini=desktop.ini /language=en

All it's translated except for the installation progress. I have an information icon but no text!!!! Normally, there is written "%s" was executed.

How can I correct this bug ????

:hello:

I've got no problems here. Can you show me the part of the ini file? Maybe languages.ini was not found? Dialogs may contain english localized strings even if languages.ini is missing.

I have made some tests with your default install.ini. The file languages.ini is found because I tested with german and english translations and all the components are translated except for Information and Warning messages in the log view of the softwares installation...

@Bendes: I can't verify this, can you send me you install.ini and how you call it?

For my test, I don't use my install.ini but yours...

I made a test with the DEFAULT INSTALL.INI in your zip file. I unzip the file downloaded on your website --> open WIHU.exe --> select all --> Next. And then I have Warning and Infos icons with no text next...

My configuration: Windows XP SP2 English with keyboard in French (Belgium).

This is really strange. I tried it as you said, but here are no problems like the image shows.

The second image shows the same situation but with removed languages.ini. Can you post a screenshot of yours?

Your languages.ini is on the same path isn't it?

Does any one else has the same Problem?

Update: There was a small bug in my code concerning setting thread locale. Localke wasn't set in WorkerThread. Just download the new version and test it there. See attachment image 3.
