helensnow
Please Look at the following{.Page Break}[bold]Chapter 12In the Beginning[/bold]{.Newline}This is what I want to achieve in Ms Word....I know it looks simple, let me explain.I want a style/formatting template in MSWord XP that allows me to create chapter headings like the one above. I cannot find a way to insert a newline after the Chapter 1 where the 1 is a auto number.I then want the word Chapterto be of a different TEMPLATE FORMAT name, for instance I do not want the word Chapter to be called "Heading 1"...so when I generate the book Index it will look like this1 In the Beginning2 Across the world3 In a Cafe4.....I hope someone can helpMany Thanks
cypher_soundz
Hi,I dont really understand your question, so maybe you could try explaining it in another way? But i would look up on section breaks / page numbers in section, also look in to "first page has differnet header" and also VBA(if you like programmnig:)) .
