Masland
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/I am gathering up drivers for an unattented installation project. When I browse the "Windows Update Catalogue" I am unable to select Windows XP SP2 as my operating system. What gives??? This seems absolutely ridiculous. Here is a screenshot of the "select your OS" prompt that is MISSING windows xp sp2? any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.http://img338.imageshack.us/my.php?image=11cj.jpg
denzilla
Shouldn't you be using Winupdate v6? Could be your issue.

Could be your issue.Actually, I believe the current catalogue is in version 4.You can check by doing..Windows Update -> Administrator Options -> Windows Update Catalogue. Masland
Is anyone else running into this problem? I would think this is a somewhat large problem for anyone that uses the msft driver database for unattended installs and deployments.Well...anyways...perhaps there is a better driver database I should be using. If so, I am open to suggestions. any responses are greatly appreciated. thx!

nitroshift
the engine of win xp is the same, regardless of what sp you are using, so any drivers for win xp will work just as well under sp1 AND sp2!
