The amount of RAM on a video card is not an indicator of performance, atleast by itself. You need the amount of RAM, speed of RAM, memory bus width and GPU make/model. In that respect Splinter Cell 3 had the better look and feel of sucking you into the game. FEAR does not do that for me for some reason. I dont mind getting the snot scared out of me and FEAR does it for me. So does DOOM 3 come to think about it. The atmoshphere was quite palpable in D3...**** I got scared!
