zippido
Hi Guys and Gals,Im wanting to create a dual booting cd wthat has Bartpe and ERD Commander 2005 as options.I know that i can get a plugging to but ERD command into BartPE, but for my requirements in need to the option of using both on boot up.The thing is that both of the programs us the I386 folders. Therefore my question is what files to i need to edit so that i can change the I386 folders to something like ERD5 and BART, while still allowing me to boot the programs?I have tried using PowerPacker thinking that this woud be able to autmate teh changes for me but it doesn't seem to work.Any help would be great! Zxian
Read the one and only guide you'll ever need for the basics of multi-boot CDs. Some of the material is outdated (ERD 2003 vs ERD 2005), but the method still works, and all the files that are there are still valid.http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/There are explicit instructions there for ERD and BartPE. zippido
Im now having Problems with BartPE nu2menu, when i copy over to the cd it over rides the xpe nu2menu! Any ideas how I can edit the setup files on bartpe and edit the nu2menu so that it is stored in a different folder (such as bartnum2menu folder instead of nu2menu folder)? pmshah
Use BCDW 2.01.Rename I386 folder from Bart PE to WNPE. Point to this folder in bcdw.ini like \wnpe\setupldr.bin.Erd can go on as it is. \i386\setupldr.bin in bcdw.iniNo hex editing required whatsoever.Works like a charm.
