[Help] - USB in windows xp

Hi, I got this problem, for the moment I'm using windows xp with SP2 installed, but when I connect my singplayer to my usb, it tells me the faster device is connected to the slower USB-hub....

I was using a regular windows xp without SP2, then someonge told me to install SP2, and it would get fixed...

My guess is, the usb port's drivers still aren't updated, my computer is about two years old, so I think these are usb 2.0 ports, they just don't get the speeds they should...

What to do???

It could be that you simply don't have USB 2.0 ports on your computer. Either that, or some USB ports are 1.1 and some are 2.0 (depending on how old your computer is). My first computer had 2 USB 2.0 ports and 4 USB 1.1 ports.

Check under Device Manager to see if you have a device listed as :

Universal Serial Bus Controllers->Enhanced Host Controller

I believe that is the device responsible for USB 2.0 functionality.
