The Real Alternative installs the necessary codecs to allow you to play Real Media files in Windows Media Player. There's no "patch" necessary. alsiladka Posted December 2, 2005 Share Posted December 2, 2005 although we have an answer here would like to tell that Reak alternative is not a patch it is just codecs which will play real media files in wmp. also you have a quick time alternative on the same site which will play quicktime files.
