[Misc] | Sony Rootkit

Wow  ,

So I'm in the process of trying to devise a simple way to disable, remove, and prevent the rootkit for my clients.

While I can't post results, yet, this Sony thing is really bad.

I strongly suggest removing ALL traces of the Sony software from the registry and other files

If you have access to gpedit, under software restrictions, add

go.exe to disallow.

For XP Home users/clients, I don't know what to tell you.

EDIT; not just the rootkit, but all the software.
