kldsts Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Hi Friends,I need help on disk partition.my scenario is i want to deploying XP sp2 image.i am having different partition on all machine.i want to stabilize to single partition.how can i delete all partation except c:?how can i delete directly extended partition even i am having logical partation?currently i am manually running script to delete all partation.Disk partition is not able to delete extended partition if any logical partition exists.can any one give any suggestions on this or batch scripts.FYI...i am using osdfp sms server 2003,WINPE is 1.3 i thing which comes with sms 2003. kldsts Posted December 1, 2005 Author Share Posted December 1, 2005 i cann't delete all paratition.Diskpart clear will clear partition list.i need to identifie no of partition and delete all except c: Drive.i am having different parartion like.1.) 1 primary 2 extended.2.) 1 primary 1 extended.3.) 2 primary 1 extended.4.) 2 primary 1 extended.5.) 2 primary 2 extended.6.) 1 primary ,1 primary for linux partition(/BOOT),1 primary for linux (SWAP), 4 or 5 logical paratition for linux.In all cases i need to identify and delete all partation except c: Drive.if i have any script i will be really help full.
