sanjaykumar
I use the following tweak to default the windows explorer view to details. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams]"Settings"=hex:08,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,77,7e,13,73,35,cf,11,ae,\69,08,00,2b,2e,12,62,04,00,00,00,10,00,00,00,43,00,00,00However i would like to make a small change to the DEFAULTS in this view (Name, Size, Type, Date modified). I would like to remove the "type" field from this view and have only the name, size and date modified fields. I tried to remove the field in windows explorer and track the changed to this key using regmon, but didnt succeed. Can someone throw light on how to track the changes to this or any other specific registry key i must look into? Thanks.

johnnymad
You can use ART (Advanded registry tracker to do all the custom registry changes. Take a look at this post: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...iew=getlastpost
