suryad
I believe a router would solve your problem. Once you configure your router your machine will never need to dial again and it will be as if you are alway on. This is in the case of DSL. In the case of Cable you are always on I believe and do not require dialing.
dibbo
Hi gagira, i think, At present u have another dial up connection(modem) installed in ur computer. So remove all the other hardware(modem) except ur ADSL/DSL modem in ur computer, and restart . I think after that ur problem will be solved.
Gagira
I have tried all those ways but none of them work?
itdude59
Also make sure your broadband connection is set as the default connection. Or at least your existing dial-up connection is NOT set as the default. (under Network Connections in the Control Panel)
