HIall

recently I installed Windows Longhorn Vista build 5112

Installation was fine...

But the Graphics that came was Horrible and the resolution was not even 800X600..

I tried to find the drivers from the drivers folder in the dvd but failed to find one

Plz help me out if somebody has information on where I can find the VGA/Audio/Intel Drivers

I have Intel 845GL original motherboard...

The Chipset drivers that came with Intel CD are not working

They say Operating System not supported

I even searched the Intel website for drivers but they have not put it up yet as of now!

Plz post here so that everyone gets a share..

Thanks.

Thank you..

Install Intel drivers- "intel inf 7.2.0.1006" and "IntVGA_2k_xp_614103865" in Compability mode with XP. It works in Vista 5112, 5219 and 5231.

You can try with elder drivers.

Install Intel drivers in Compability with XP. It works in Vista 5112, 5219 and 5312.

Tried this in the latest build (5231) - I'm still getting the "OS not included" error message - so I'm stuck with the really bad resolution.

HELP!

Looks like I managed to successfully install both driver sets highlighted above.

However - when I boot into Vista - I get a black screen when the login screen should be showing - and cannot seem to get any further.

Any ideas?
