graysummer
Yesterday, the final day of October,One of the DT Administrators, named Copytrooper ,at their web pages, said: "We have to delay v4 for around 14 days due to a serious bug.We worked hard to get it done for a October release, unfortunately s*** happens from time to time. From now on all threads concerning the release date of v4 will be deleted, and people who still complain will get an extra time out from the forum for the next 14 days."As U know, the daemon tools is the best Virtual CD/DVD software under windows. Version 4 is designed for WinXp x64 Edition. Now, I use one software named "FantomDVD" under WinXp x64 Edition, but it has a few bugs ,espacially virtualling those encryped discs. Martin L
yeah i saw they delayed it... but i prefer a delay instead of a serious bug so we still cant use it
dale5605
hehe, can't wait. Not sure if anyone would know why but I can't get call of duty 2 right. I can play fine with the cd in the drive. I clicked "explore" on the 1st cd of CoD2 and then copied all the files into a folder on my computer. Then I used nero to make a .nrg image file of all those files. Then I mounted that image with daemon 3.47 and clicked on "safedisc" emulation. Multiplayer loads up fine but single player asks for the disc. This is on windows 32 by the way. Acheron
I think it's not the bug itself which causes this delay. The developers need to avoid at all costs insight in their mechanism Daemon Tools uses, that access the CD/DVD-drive. I wish them the best
