Press any key
The RSS Problem .. Microsoft need a glyph (probably 16x16) for Internet Explorer 7.Borland® Delphi™ 8 includes the glyFX Borland Special Edition icon set. This is a selection of high quality toolbar images, that will give your application an instant facelift with a modern look and feel. The Special Edition includes over 95 images, ranging from database, networking, multimedia to word processing and business. Each image is provided in 2 sizes (16x16 pixels and 24x24 pixels) and in 3 states (normal, hot & disabled). The images are compatible with any control that supports bitmap files... But NO RSS. Symbol is IMPORTANT but COLOR should not be. ie. Orange background may not suit all applications. RSS letters are not required. Firefox has something. *What's needed is one standard to indicate a web feed.AND it has to look good at 16x16 pixels! Try it - you can't do it. Make a nice big image that looks terrific, but when reduced to the toolbar icon, becomes a muddy mess. This is a 128x128 image .. And reduced to 16x16 .. It may also need to be a Bitmap. Can you do it ? An itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini ..You will be the only person in THE WORLD to have designed that icon (glyph) that everyone uses.MS have some ideas on their blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/rssteam/archive/2005/10/08/478505.aspxPS. Ofcourse, all you have to do is get the world to agree. Just like the United Nations.
