hakeem5454 Posted October 8, 2005 Share Posted October 8, 2005 i just rebooted my computer and i saved some documents on a floppy so i could access them later. The problem is that when i put the floppy in and click on the 3 1/2 floppy picture in my computer it says: Please insert disk into drive A:. ripken204 Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 well the floppy drive works. like i said before, you need to format the disk, this will be the only way to make the disk work. try to format a floppy you dont need. do you still have the files you need or are they only on that 1 floppy? rjz Posted October 11, 2005 Share Posted October 11, 2005 It coud be a bad floppy drive. The floppy cable could be in wrong or it could be bad. Check your event logs and also check your bios.
