DaveH
If I understand this problem correctly, and I think I do. You may want to go to http://www.microsoft.com/ie -- obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer, update so that the default IE settings to setting. Go into internet explorer go to TOOLS drag to 'Internet Options' go to the "Advanced Tab" click "Restore Default Settings". Close internet explorer. Right click the IE logo on your desktop, go to "Properties" open up internet explorer properties, go to "Connections" go to "Setup" click "I want to set my internet connection manually" (third bullet-hole). Try this, tell me what you think and if it works, I'll try to dig up something else when I go to work and check out the intranet help sites for info on the problem. piaqt
Once again, been there, done that. (sigh) Thanks for the advice. I'm REALLY trying to avoid reinstalling everything again. Looks like I haven't any other viable options.
