FAQ | Which files to use of Sony Camera driver?

I am trying to install Sony Driver from the website Silent... I am using the /s switch and it's working fine but on some of the drivers it will ask me if i want to reboot, how can i stop it from asking to reboot?

if it is for a sony camera.... you only need two files... one inf and one sys. I extract them out of the install and copy them.. I could not find a silent switch.

So you extract the EXE driver from the Sony website? I try that in the past but no luck, how did you do this?

I'm trying to use my sony camera driver with the rest of my drivers in OemPnPDriversPath. I've got the files extracted by running the installshield and getting all the files out of the temp directory it uses. But I don't have a sys file. Here's a list:

_IsRes.dll

default.pal

DeleteReg.exe

InstallDLL.exe

isrt.dll

setup.inx

SonyPVP1.inf

UninstallDLL.exe

value.shl

Anybody know how I can do this?

You can find a list of required files in the [sourceDisksFiles] section of the .inf file

Thanks BTS, but there's no [sourceDisksFiles] in SonyPVP1.inf. I think it uses the DeleteReg.exe InstallDLL.exe to copy the files to the appropriate location. I'll just stick with the silent msi install.
