staples
if it is for a sony camera.... you only need two files... one inf and one sys. I extract them out of the install and copy them.. I could not find a silent switch.
songohan
So you extract the EXE driver from the Sony website? I try that in the past but no luck, how did you do this?

I could not find a silent switch.I'm trying to use my sony camera driver with the rest of my drivers in OemPnPDriversPath. I've got the files extracted by running the installshield and getting all the files out of the temp directory it uses. But I don't have a sys file. Here's a list:_IsRes.dlldefault.palDeleteReg.exeInstallDLL.exeisrt.dllsetup.inxSonyPVP1.infUninstallDLL.exevalue.shlAnybody know how I can do this? Bâshrat the Sneaky
You can find a list of required files in the [sourceDisksFiles] section of the .inf file
fly2279
Thanks BTS, but there's no [sourceDisksFiles] in SonyPVP1.inf. I think it uses the DeleteReg.exe InstallDLL.exe to copy the files to the appropriate location. I'll just stick with the silent msi install.
