Kapo
i have a question.Does the java 64 bit package install also the browsers plugins?
nfm
@KapoSorry I can't answer this one. If normal installer from Sun Java site installs plugins then so does mine. @--=ddSHADOW=--Nobody hacked sfc_os.dll for x64 yet. I came close, but finding last offset that needs to be replaced is impossible. Nuhi did it, because he uses different method, he makes Windows think that removed files don't even exist and therefore WFP has nothing to protect because files aren't there. -I-
tnx this update pack SAVED me a D*mn lot of headakes.... |i just got my new pc (with nforce chipset) and XP Pro x64, it didn't work, and i got al kinds of BS ... my drivers wouldn't install, and windoze update didn't do a thing... so i reinstalled x32 version, and tried NLite and your pack. also downloaded a set of newer drivers and slipstremed them direct into the cd. and guess what.... all works - no probs, (just a big lack of x64 software). Jito463
I would remove KB914784 if I were you. It patches the kernel to make it more secure, but it disables Daemon Tools/Alcohol (and possibly other virtual drive software) and has been reported to break some AV software (though I haven't confirmed that myself). Mr Snrub
[KB914784] patches the kernel to make it more secure, but it disables Daemon Tools/Alcohol...Seems the bad code in Daemon Tools has been rectified:http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/announcements.phpwe updated latest DaemonTools (V4.0.3) with latest available SPTD-Driver (V1.25)!The new SPTD fixes several critical issues, a problem with McAfee-Virus-Scan and VistaBeta2-Problems!The X64-Version also fixes the latest issues between SPTD introduced by Microsoft-patch KB 914784On a related note, the genuine x64 Windows SP2 is currently in beta testing. nfm
New update pack is upWhat's newVersion 1.60 44.8MB!This version cannot be integrated over previous Update Pack versions. Update Pack now uses 7-zip compression which shaved off ~15MB from the pack. Updated KB911280 to v2. Added KB907986 Hotfix. Added KB917537 Hotfix. Added KB914388 Hotfix. Added KB917159 Hotfix. Removed KB912222 Hotfix, it caused failed data transfers and network slowdowns. Removed WGAI hope that nobody runs into problems with integration RVM Integrator v1.4.1 should be released soon, don't use v1.4.0. For those who had problems with kernel patch, new version of daemon tools is out. As for service pack 2 beta, it looks good and there aren't any problems with it, however, it won't feature windows media player 11 or internet explorer 7 or even windows defender. There are some talks whether or not to include net. framework 2.0 but I doubt that, dot net 3.0 will be out by the time they release sp2.
