Are using the famous (Alcatel SpeedTouch 510v4) router ?

and btw, try accessing the router's web interface, disconnecting and reconnecting the line...

Also if you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2, go to Add/Remove programs, Windows Components, Networking and uninstall the Internet Gateway Device Discovery component and make sure Universal Plug and Play is enabled...

- Try an IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS followed by IPCONFIG /RELEASE and IPCONFIG /RENEW then go to the router's DHCP server and lock both of your leases....

and finally, does this happen in Internet Explorer and/or FireFox ?

Did you upgrade to Opera 8.50 (which is now freeware)?

i think it is Belkin router (in the web based configuration it is: conexant)

i'm using Opera 8.5

we disconnect the router every night.

i don't use other browsers because Opera is the fatest one.

i'd used the commands you provided and i'll test again...

but what is the meaning of lock both of your leases ??

Thank you so much :)

*i'd like to ask you: ADSL here is fast in early morning then it decreases

during the day !! is this also your experience ??

*i'd found that some sites only have the half loading problem !!

change ur browser!!!try it or u will always find if there is something wrong with ur machine

just try.

the bandwidth int the morning is big because the using amount of users is little, the day ,^_^ in contrast....

try the commands ip/renew /config /release in the cmd window....

but in my opinion,u must check the opera goes will with ur machine(hareware & software)

"Lock your Lease" This means to configure the DHCP server (on the router) to always give you the same IP address every time you connect to the network (similar to static addresses, but without the hassle of manual configuration)...

It may not actually solve the problem, but it is a good suggestion nevertheless...

And yes, my ISP here is LinkDotNet and i have the same experience...

The upload/download speed doesn't decrease too much but during the day the DNS Resolution becomes very slow....
