I love UltraVNC. You can download the package that contains a "mirror" driver that enhances visual quality, a DSM encryption plugin, the Server and Viewer. Or you can download the Server and Viewer as stand-alone EXEs. The icons are like "third eyes" which is cool. The configurations are straight forward and easy. Literally takes less than 1 minute to setup once installed. It's a lot of fun to help someone out using that type of communication and it's a thrill to be able to control their PC, but not in a malicious sense... at least not for me. Cast your vote! ;)

Remote Desktop does exactly what it says on the tin.  :w00t:

That's only available for XP Pro, AFAIK. For general use remote connection, you'll need a third party app.

Same with UltraVNC. Although UltraVNC has the added benefit of being standalone, so you can port it with you on a USB key and run it from any computer.

And viewing from a webpage also uses Java... any browser with Java capabilities and you're golden. :)

I should have made the thread "Best FREE Remote Connection Software". There are too many organizations out there who want a wheelbarrel of cash for these tiny applications that should be freeware. What a disappointment.

Radmin.

small client, does what its supposed to, easy to use, all the features it needs, and quick loading compared to other clients ive used (for example: remote desktop being, as usual for MS, full of stuff that isnt needed, and slow.)
