Guys, wich one is you favorite?

I know that Autopatcher can not be slipstreamed and that RyanVM cannot be installed after WindowsXP installation.

Ignoring this, which one do you prefer? Installing AutoPatacher after XP installation or slipstreaming RyanVM pack for Unattended install?

@ dman - Sorry. I didnt even knew about that method. Decided to go with these 2 because they're the most used ones.

I prefer RyanVM. Doing a clean install with all the hotfixes slipstreamed is much better. But since RyanVM has his wedding and everything, and I had to get GF computer running, decided to use AutoPatcher.

I use autopatcher a lot. I don't always get to do the install, just the cleanup. autopatcher is much easier than installing manually or using windows update site when unpatched windows is already on machine.

I just used AutoPatcher today for the first time. On my GF computer. Everything worked fine and I really like it.

What I think about the 2 methods is...

RyanVM - Perfect for integrating on XP installation disk.

AutoPatcher - Perfect for already installed XPs.

While I like the idea behind RyanVM I still voted for Autopatcher...

Simply because as mucha s I like RyanVM there is not as of yet a

known way to install the updates (via slipstreaming by way of nLite)

without having to accept the whole package. At least with Autopatcher

I can pick and choose which components I don't want to install.

Perhaps this will change when he releases his own tool to do the

patching\slipstreaming with...
