gamehead200
Anyone know how to properly clean your laptop screen?
xper
2 soft clean cotton cloth pieces about one foot square each (Chux superwipes are ideal). Dampen with clean water and squeeze out excess water. If the TFT screen has many greasy fingerprints and marks, a TINY amount of gentle detergent (not solvent or ammonia based) on one of these. Gentle clean with this cloth first, don't allow the liquid to dry on the screen, then the damp cloth. Finally polish and dry with a soft clean hand towel. Don't use excess pressure on any part of the screen. I'd definitely keep away from Windex, CRT and glass/lens cleaning solutions. Rick
Thanks..I've been using distilled alcohol (glasses cleaner) on my screen with a cotton cloth. Not good I guess. Rick
