Beta 2 ready. Things to have into account:

1) Download only if you're going to contribute to the bughunting. Don't waste our bandwidth.

2) XPize Settings needs .NET Framework to run. Links in my site.

3) Please be informative when reporting bugs / suggestions (Windows version, language, file, resource, etc...)

4) I will release a Luna version (wizards images and custom visual style) and a lite version (no 128x128 icons) when all bugs are fixed.

5) Uninstal previous version of XPize before installing this one.

hallo xpero

ok i have three things

1. if you install taskswitchxp and have the original ms taskswitch powertoy installt - you get an error that taskswitcher can not register STRG+ALT

but this is no problem at all i think, becouse normally someone knows if taskswitch powertoy is installed

2. in internet explorer properties under "programs" there is an old icon - i dont know if you know that and i did not see any image of this in the beta1 thread - so i posted an image

3. the services icons are great, but you have a white background, so if someone choose an other style it doesn't look so nice

i think this is a known problem - but this is what i see first

i know, this are icons with fake background i think, so it is difficult - but check it out - i posted an image

but xpize install working great - no installation errors - all other resources fine - i think

i will recheck on my real machine today evening, so i post any other errors

system: vmware with german xp pro sp2 and hotfixes data 18.06.2005 + framework ...

thanks

Mamoun and yergling:

I think it is, checking it righ now

EDIT: Yep, I found the bug. Stupid mistake in the script. Gonna fix it in next one.

For fixing it now follow these steps:

1) Place the log in C:\WINDOWS\XPize\Resources\xpsp2res.dll

2) Run the updater and restart

xpsp2res.dll.txt

one thing i want to know... are you supposed to get the Please Wait..... screen after the boot screen on first boot after installing XPize?

the screen itself looks like the regular xp install screen/windows post install, just without all the words, just a please wait..... at the top...
