GEnto Posted July 25, 2005 Share Posted July 25, 2005 Hi every body, i am trying to modify krnl files (ntkrnlmp.exe, ntkrnlpa.exe ntoskrnl.exe)I have replaced then into driver.cab, sp1.cab and sp2 cab and ntkrnlmp.ex_, ntkrnlpa.ex_ ntoskrnl.ex_ into i386 folder.When I try to install i've got this error after (ASR AT THE BEGINNING WITH the BLUE SCREEN, no error blue screen):Can't load \i386\ntkrnlmp.exeerror code 14nad the install stop.Perhaps any CRC check, any ideas???thanks. GreenMachine Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 Currently, XPCREATE does not have a mechanism for updating these files. You could try using the FILECD\I386 directory, and turning off the DOCABS option, but as to BSODs using modified files ... not really my cup of tea ...
