Kelsenellenelvian
Okay just ran a couple of test and when there is not an actuall file to run wpi will giva an error in connection with your actual drive but when configured properly and having actual install to run WPI works just fine so the error you are getting is normal. enuffsaid
Hmm, maybe it's possible to use a temporary environment variabele? For example:Set SERVERPATH=<UNC path>and then use %SERVERPATH% in your wpi ?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>There's a great idea! Thanks so much for thinking with me. I'll give it a try and let you know.Dank u wel! 'nuffsaid
oneless
Okay just ran a couple of test and when there is not an actuall file to run wpi will giva an error in connection with your actual drive but when configured properly and having actual install to run WPI works just fine so the error you are getting is normal.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>no hope here . now my hdd have c: and d: as partitions , and my optical is V: nowany test i run , wpi try to find some in e:\install\...here is w2kserver , i will test tonight on my XP_Pro at homewpi.cmd find the right path for %wpipath% (photo) , but wpi.hta seems to dont use this path ...*edit* of course , i add a 7Z directory in install folder with 7z installeri modify config.js, remain there only 7z lines . so i have a real file to launch . oneless
more than bad luck for me !three different systems , two OS , same crap stupid answer after i try to launch something .even i made manually in wpi.cmdset cdrom=a:\set wpipath=a:\ nothing countwpi.hta go to the first letter after my hdd partitions (no matter ifexist optical on that drive_letter or not). with two partitions tried to find some at e:\install\...three partitions go for f:\install\.. . a similar problem , but not the same , i had with wpi_3_5_1 so this , with not recognized OS by 3_5_1 , were the reasons for remaining to 3_5 but now i dont agree this idea anymore .am i the single one crying today ? Dynaletik
Hey kelsenellenelvian, my WPI won't start. Even if I take your package and DO NOT MODIFY it. It gives me an error 'sgStartInstall' is undefined in WPI.hta. It's in line 19, character 1. Any solution? When clicking 'yes' and hovering over the Exit button (it doesn't say Exit, it is "undefined") he gives me an error in main.js:Message: 'length' is null or no objectUrl: file://G:\\WPI_3.6.1\WPI\WPI.htaFile: main.jsLine: 128 Edited July 18, 2005 by Dynaletik
