Viper999
I am trying to lockdown a desktop so the user only sees the icons placed on the desktop. Is there a way to hide the start button or the entire taskbar. I dont mean autohide as I dont want it to be visible at all. Thanks in advance for your assistance.Jim

Delprat
drag the taskbar below and lock itsimpleehehheheheh<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do what you say, and then press <Ctrl>+<Esc>... Viper99, there are keys in the registry to really lock that taskbar, and it's easy found with google... or take a look at the "registry tweaks" threads in this board, and use the "quick search in this topic" feature (at the very bottom of the posts view)bye

-M-
Have a look at this: http://www.codeproject.com/win32/AntonioWinLock.aspYou can find a sample program and also the code for it, in case you want to write a program yourself. Otherwise, try the sample tool, maybe it meets your needs.
