Maelstorm
You cal also incorporate it into your registry tweaks at the T-12 point of the installation. Any reg tweaks that go there will be incorporated into the default user profile.HTH
Yzöwl
Also, have you tried:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer]"NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList"=dword:00000001

This section of the registry is used to create [HKEY_CURRENT_USER]. So it is basically a template for all future users.[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]"NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList"=dword:00000001
1boredguy
thanks for all the replies! i looked up "hivedef.inf", it looks interesting but i prefer to do reg tweaks the old fashioned way, calling them with runonceex. [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]"NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList"=dword:00000001that one didn't work.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer]"NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList"=dword:00000001 this one did work! but... I would like to know how to import the tweaks at T-12, but the registry guide is down.............. Edited July 11, 2005 by 1boredguy
RyanVM
Call the reg tweak from cmdlines.txt or svcpack.inf to add them at the T12 mark.

1boredguy
finally found the answer... cmdlines.txt[COMMANDS]"REGEDIT /S regtweaks.reg"proper syntax, and all current user tweaks are perminant for all created (now or next year) accounts.
