FthrJACK Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 like booger said, sounds just like one of the strains of nimda. i had it trying to infect #"shared pictures" folder on my pc a while back so i simply removed the folder, ran BOTH nimda checking tools from symantecs site.they said no nimda found but i think thats because anti virus caught them before they could be clicked on by accident or anything.are there lots of them? some look like saved emails?Norton grabbed each one the second it apeared here. but still run the tool and be safe, i think it says no worm found even if there is, i think its supposed to read "worm removed"make sure you run both nimda rools! theres two strains of the virus.
