Recommended Posts

i dont know crap about sql, but we are getting a server with ms sql 2000 sever. is there a major difference between the two (like between 98 and win2k?) or are they pretty similar?

the reason i ask is... half price books has a moc admin training kit for sql 7.0 for $30. id like to pick it up if itll do me some good.

they are not at all as different as win98 and win2k cos those OS are based on different platforms while SQL 7.0 and SQL 2000 are not as different!

if you plan to make databases, SQL is quite good thing to have!

all the commands of SQL 7.0 will work on SQL 2000 too.
