Hi

When nLite scans my drive it stops with an error, that it can not get access to a dir called RRUbackups

Where is that dir, and what's contained in it...??

I try to go on with the progress, but nothing happends

Best Regards

Did you copied your CD into hdd partition root ?

If you have then recopy fresh from CD into some subfolder.

In short that folder is not part of normal Windows package.

I have just recovered my T42 from DVD's, cause my HD crased and got a new one..

So it's a clean install, and i'm using the i386 dir on the C-drive

RRUbackups - Is that cause i UltraStore and backed up my drive...??

And if, shoulden't nLite move on, is it nessesary that it gets access to the RRUbackups dir...??

  • 1 year later...

Wouldn't happen to have an IBM computer would you... particularly a Lenovo or Thinkpad... because it's actually a hidden folder which is part of the IBM Rescue & Recovery Utility (RRU) and is created by the BIOS afaik. Whether it can be (or should be) removed ??? ... no idea!
